Dear L’Aventure members,
Bad Mergentheim is a town at the Tauber (river) in the Franconian north-east of Baden-Württemberg, about 35 km south-west of Würzburg. With around 23,000 inhabitants, this place with its historical history and the wonderful landscape is the ideal place for our IAPM 2022.
We have selected two hotels that are close to each other (Best Western and Savoy), which are idyllically located within walking distance near the Park. The “Wandelhalle” is located in the Park, where the drivers’ briefing, the welcome dinner and the gala evening will take place.
Individual arrival is on Friday, June 17th. The accreditation is located at the Peugeot Autohaus Bartosch in Bad Mergentheim. Here you will receive your start number, welcome package and the hotel in which you are staying. If you arrive on a third-party axle or with a trailer, we will inform you on site where the relevant parking spaces are located. There is also a limited number of covered parking spaces for special classic cars. Please give us the information on this in the registration form.
On Saturday we are going on a special trip. In addition to exploring the beautiful landscape, we will prepare a trip with special stages. Don’t worry, anyone can take part, no matter how old or young the vehicle, driver and passenger are. It’s more about skill, wits and lots of fun. We are also offering a special award for the most beautiful Peugeot vintage car. We will end the evening with a gala evening and lots of good conversations.
On Sunday we start with a showdown on the market square in Bad Mergentheim. From there it goes again to a nice comfortable ride. At lunch, the farewell takes place and the departure is to be planned individually.
